"Together for One Ocean: Germany and partners for SDG 14": Side event at the UN Ocean Conference in Nice

The German government, which has competences for maritime affairs spread across several ministries, will join forces to take up the challenge of effective marine protection while allowing sustainable uses of marine resources. Together with the UNOC co-organisers and inspiring contributions from prominent personalities, this event will present contributions with international relevance for the protection and sustainable use of the world's oceans and their resources. In addition to insights into topics of marine conservation, fisheries and international marine cooperation, the event is also a prelude to the FS METEOR programme as "a German pavilion" for the entire week.
