Environmental Statement 2023

The environmental statement represents an altogether shorter summary of the current emission data and builds in terms of content on the more detailed environmental statement of the previous year. This environmental statement gives you an insight into the activities of a federal ministry and at the same time enables you to gain an overview of our internal measures to protect the environment. Within the Federal Government, the Federal Environment Ministry is responsible for all matters relating to environmental protection and thus also for implementing the EC Regulation on the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) in Germany.
