Umwelt, Klima, Wandel – was junge Menschen erwarten und wie sie sich engagieren
The study "Future? Youth ask!" examines how young people think about the environment and the climate, what concerns they have and what ideas and perceptions they have for the future. The study was conducted for the third time in 2021. In addition to recurring questions on politics, the environment and climate, and consumption, this year's survey covered in greater depth the topics of commitment to the environment and climate, the importance of social media for environmental and climate protection, and emotions about climate change. The results show that protecting the environment and climate continues to be a pressing issue for young people - despite the Corona pandemic.
