  • The meeting of the G7 climate, energy and environment ministers ended today with agreement on a final declaration that sends a strong signal for more climate protection with a view to the 1.5 degree limit and solidarity with the countries most affected by climate change. The final press conference was addressed by German Federal Ministers Robert Habeck and Steffi Lemke, Alok Sharma, COP26 President for the UK, Toshitaka Ooka, State Minister of the Environment for Japan and Kenichi Hosoda, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry for Japan.
